Preparing for a Successful Charter Renewal Within a Pandemic Landscape: For Principals and Executive Directors

This recorded workshop brought together Executive Directors and  Principals to learn how to ready their school community for the renewal process. Explored how to analyze and present the school’s  ‘data story,’ despite missing key state and federal testing data from the past two years. It also discussed how to showcase their talent and robust programs, and learn strategies to best engage their school community in strong support of their school.

How Charter Board  Members Can Effectively  Engage  in the Charter Renewal Process: For Board Members and Executive Directors

This recorded workshop brought together Executive Directors and Board to learn how to ready their board and school community for the renewal process. There was a focus on the importance of the board in the renewal process, how board members should prepare to best be able to represent the governance practices of the organization, and identify concrete ways board members can engage in the process.
