Our Charter Marketplace program provides a great mechanism for you to increase your visibility to the growing charter school market and strategically pursue charter school partners and clients. Participation in this program enables you to DO BUSINESS WHILE DOING GOOD for Maryland students.  

The Maryland Alliance of Public Charter Schools (MAPCS) connects quality providers with school leaders. Currently, there are 49 charter schools operating in Maryland, serving over 25,000 students. Combined, these schools spend over $300M dollars during their fiscal year.

Unlike most other public schools, public charters have fiscal autonomy and make independent purchasing decisions on a wide range of operational and educational products and services. They also make significant investments in real estate and facilities.

Marketplace Benefits

The Charter Marketplace is where member schools can search for companies who conduct business with charter schools. We promote our charter marketplace to our schools through our website, through our e-newsletters, and at our membership meetings. Our members find verified vendors and suppliers on our site. The Vendor Marketplace links Maryland Public Charter Schools with businesses that are committed to the Maryland charter school market.

 Membership in the Maryland Charter Marketplace provides the following benefits to participants:

  • Presentation in the MAPCS Marketplace listings for one year on the website.

  • Basic list of all operating charter schools in Maryland, including website, student enrollment and more to enable smart segmenting of the market.

  • The Marketplace will be featured in our e-newsletter quarterly that is distributed to our membership, charter school operators and founding groups.

  • Priority notification and selection of Sponsorship and Exhibitor opportunities for various events all year long (before the general public vendors can make their selections).

Rates

  • Annual Charter Marketplace membership is $350.

  • Renewals:  Renewal memberships will remain at the same rate as when initiated as long as there has been no interruption in membership.
